EEM is a 501(C)(3) tax exempt charitable organization created in 2009 for the purpose of encouraging and facilitating educational programs in Michigan relating to energy and sources of energy; educating and promoting energy safety to the general public; encouraging the wise and efficient use of energy; and supporting research and educational activities concerning energy, including seminars, teacher workshops and scholarships.
